Unless you have a proper reason for not trusting anti-virus, it should be compulsory for virus protection. You probably think im mad but I do recommend some sort of paid anti-virus software. Without mcafee, my computer would lose alot of my speed because I wouldn't have found it. I had to uninstall 3 programs, reinstall 1 and delete 2 files from the registry, but with caution. ![]() I ended up taking 2 days just removing the whole thing. I scanned and it picked it up, but not the whole thing. I recently had some trouble with a virus on my laptop. virus scanners scan your registry, which is very complicated and hard to reach, one wrong move, your computer won't work. Honestly, without virus scanners that are paid for, you need to be extremely careful on what you download. ![]()
